ODESSA - One hundred Odessa jobs are closer to being spared despite the flint hills plant shutting down.
The Economic Development Corporation voted to give Orion-Pacific five million dollars to keep part of the plant open.
They'll use the site to make a product only made in Odessa.
It's an adhesive that's used in tape and baby diapers.
It now goes to the City Council on May 26th.
