MIDLAND - More than three million dollars in stimulus funds are headed to the Permian Basin and Midland I.S.D. wants parents to know how they plan on spending that money.
On Monday night, district officials unveiled some of the big things they hope to accomplish with the cash.
One school official told NewsWest Nine, she thinks early childhood education is at the top of the list.
But she also stressed getting parents involved is the only way any new programs will be effective.
Not many parents turned out to hear what M.I.S.D. has in mind.
Jolly hopes a new website the Department of Education is working on will help parents stay informed about where the money is being spent.
