MIDLAND - Downtown Midland will soon be seeing some changes.
The Midland Development Corporation approved two million dollars for Permian Plaza on Friday for a state of the art parking garage that will hold more than 400 cars.
That's not the only plan in the works for Permian Plaza.
Its parent company, Basic Energy Services, is redeveloping its corporate headquarters consolidating three downtown buildings to create Permian Plaza.
The development will bring new stores, restaurants, and office space to downtown.
