PRESIDIO COUNTY - New details have been released in connection to a wildfire that has burned 1,300 acres in Presidio County.

The U.S. Border Patrol says agents discovered the fire on Wednesday when they rescued three illegal immigrants who were in distress.

Agents are still searching for a missing woman who was with them.

Investigators tells NewsWest 9, the group started the blaze.

The Musgrave Canyon Fire is only five percent contained and is burning 17 miles southwest of Valentine.

High winds and few roads have made it difficult to fight.
