HOWARD COUNTY - Authorities from the Howard County Sheriff's Office and Big Spring Police are investigating after a County Deputy had a close call with gunshots earlier this week.
The incident happened about 10:30 on Monday night when the deputy heard gunshots in the 1000 block of Lamesa Highway.
One bullet struck the windshield of the patrol car and another hit a nearby residence.
The Deputy suffered only minor injuries from the shattered windshield, and the homeowner was not injured.
Authorities say they have identified some suspects, but aren't releasing their names yet.
