MIDLAND - Midland voters have given Midland Memorial Hospital the green light to begin a major construction project.
Voters approved a $115 million bond 64% to 36% Saturday. That money will be used to build a new hospital tower and make other improvements to the aging facility.
Midland Memorial says the money will greatly improve patient care and help the hospital attract new doctors.
