PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) - Defense attorneys have rested their case in the trial of an ex-soldier charged with the rape and murder of an Iraqi teen and the shotgun deaths of her family south of Baghdad.
The case of former Pfc. Steven Dale Green is now scheduled to go to the jury Wednesday.
The defense rested after attorneys called two witnesses Tuesday to testify about the conditions soldiers faced in Iraq. A third testified about a log book kept by the Army.
