Intoxication Manslaughter Trial Begins in Midland

The first day in the intoxication manslaughter of a Midland teen is in the books. Prosecutors say 18-year old Kaily Rosales caused the wreck in June of last year that killed 53-year-old Patricia Hochman.

MIDLAND - The first day in the intoxication manslaughter of a Midland teen is in the books.

Prosecutors say 18-year old Kaily Rosales caused the wreck in June of last year that killed 53-year-old Patricia Hochman.

According to investigators, the S.U.V. Rosales was driving ran off of Loop 250, crossed the median, and slammed into the driver's side of Hochman's car.

She was charged with intoxication manslaughter and aggravated assault.

We're told Rosales was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
