MIDLAND - This year's tax day may be over, but there are plenty of West Texans who are still protesting how the federal government is spending tax dollars.
On Saturday morning, Midlanders gathered next to the Vietnam Memorial near the Airport to hold a "TEA" party protest of their own.
The "TEA" party stands for Taxed Enough Already.
This past week, nationwide rallies have been ongoing to protest the spending of trillions of dollars which they say will leave a debt for the next generation.
Most of those rallies finished this past week, but supporters say there is still reason to get their message out to the public.
Nationwide rallies are being promoted by the American Family Association.
