ODESSA - Two Ector County schools sheltered in place Tuesday morning while police searched the area for a man believed to be involved in a domestic disturbance.
The police search took place near Pease Elementary and Crockett Junior High around 9:00 a.m. Both schools sheltered in place for about 20 minutes.
Shelter in place means the exterior doors of the school were locked and monitored, but inside school goes on as normal.
ECISD Police say studetns and staff at the school were not in danger at any time.
