MIDLAND - A scare in the sky on Friday afternoon for a Texas Forest Service pilot after an engine on one of their planes stalled.

With just one engine still working, the twin engine plane was able to make an emergency landing at Midland International Airport a little after 4:30.

The Texas Forest Service tells NewsWest 9, they have an engine on site and will replace the engine on Saturday.

They expect to have the firefighting plane back in the sky this weekend.
