ODESSA - New business ventures in Odessa are moving full speed ahead.
In just the next few days, two major oil-related companies will break ground and soon offer new jobs for West Texans.
The Odessa Development Corporation offered one million dollars to Lufkin Industries to construct its new training and manufacturing center on Odessa soil.
And not too far behind them, the National Oilwell Varco Company will begin construction sometime in the next 80 days.
The Odessa Development Corporation tells NewsWest 9, they already operate several smaller centers around our area, but they'll soon bring them all into one larger location.
