Early Morning Fire Badly Damages Midland Home

MIDLAND - A light fixture is being blamed for a fire that destroyed a Midland home.
The flames broke out around 4:30 Friday morning in a storage building behind the a house at 1002 Waverly.

Firefighters say the cedar fence around the yard caught fire and it spread to the house next door.

Because of the flames, wind, and water damage the home next door was a total loss.

The home at 1002 Waverly was also damaged.

No one was hurt.
