MIDLAND - A Midland man tied to a string of armed robberies is now behind bars.

29-year-old Jose Carlos Gallegos is accused of robbing a woman at knifepoint, around 6:30 in front of Kohl's on Friday.

His bond has been set at $100,000 each for the seperate aggravated assaults.

Police say the man stood near a woman's car at Kohl's on Friday.

He asked for directions, then flashed a knife.

We're told a similar robbery happened at Shoguns that same day and at the Hobby Lobby on Thursday.

Gallegos turned himself in just after ten on Saturday night.
