PECOS - Shock and anger in a West Texas town after a school employee is suspected of driving drunk, but it's not your typical D.W.I. case.

Gary Allen Garcia Junior is out of jail after posting a $10,000 bond, but the allegations are shocking.

23-year-old Garcia was arrested last Thursday morning and charged with D.W.I. refusal.

Police tell NewsWest 9, three kids were in the car with him when he was picked up around 3:00 a.m. in the 1100 block of south Elm Street.

Garcia works at Crockett Middle School as a volleyball and swimming coach.

Even though he's out of jail, Garcia faces a third degree state felony charge, because he had kids with him when he was picked up.

As for his job, he's on paid leave from Pecos I.S.D.
