    We're about to learn a lot more about the investigation into the tragic parade accident that happened back in November 2012. Hundreds of documents will be released on Wednesday concerning the investigation.

    Union Pacific: Others Responsible For Crash Video included

    Union Pacific has filed motions in civil court contending that three other entities are responsible for the collision that killed four U.S. military veterans on a parade float last year. The motions seek to designate the city of Midland, Midland County and the parade organizer as responsible third parties.

    Five More Families File Suit in Connection With Deadly Train Accident Video included

    More families have joined a lawsuit tied to November's deadly train accident in Midland. An accident in which four people died and several others were hurt. The lawsuit blames Smith Industries and Union Pacific Railroad for the tragedy.

    Truck Driver No-Billed in Connection With November Train Crash

    A Midland County Grand Jury has returned a no-bill for the driver of the truck involved in the Nov. 15th, 2012 train accident. Midland County District Clerk Ross Bush tells NewsWest 9 the 385th Judicial Grand Jury has not concluded their review of the incident but there will be no indictments against Dale Wayne Hayden.

    Grand Jury to Consider Fatal Train Collision Case

    Grand jurors will consider the case of a train collision that killed four veterans riding on a parade float last fall. Midland County prosecutor Eric Kalenak will present the case Wednesday to a newly impaneled, 12-person grand jury. He won't say whether the office is recommending an indictment in the Nov. 15 accident.

    A widow to one of four military veterans killed when their parade float was struck by a train at a West Texas railroad crossing has filed a wrongful death suit. Catherine Stouffer, the wife of 37-year-old Gary Stouffer Jr., seeks unspecified damages in the suit filed Thursday in Dallas.
