Maytag Home Appliance Center started in 1996, selling only appliances made by Maytag. In 2006 Maytag was purchased by Whirlpool Corporation and Direct Maytag became Direct Appliance Sales and Electronics.

Over the years our selection has grown to include Electronics & Appliances from Samsung, Maytag, Amana, Bosch, LG, Frigidaire, Danby, Panasonic, Sharp and many more. Direct Maytag Home Appliance Center in 2005 was the ninth largest Home Appliance Center in the United States and for nine consecutive months, we received 100% excellent marks on the quality of service survey cards sent to customers – the only service center in Maytag's history to do so.

We are locally owned and have seven employees on staff with a combined experience of over 75 years in appliances and 39 years in television. We currently provide appliance service and will be adding television service by 2012. We have comparable pricing to the big box stores and our own dedicated service department. Direct Appliance warranty service is limited to buying customers only to ensure short waiting periods if service is ever needed. Direct also maintains an active loaner fleet comprised of washers, dryers, refrigerators and freezers. This loaner fleet is for our customers use in case of delayed parts arrival or if they ever need shop service for an appliance. Our customers are not charged for loaners whether their appliance is in or out of warranty.

Our service and parts department allows customers to bring in their appliances. Not only does this save them money, but it also allows our out-of-town customers to schedule a shop repair. If the parts are in stock, the customer can generally do some shopping and pick up the repaired item before the trip home.

Direct has the largest appliance warehouse in the Permian Basin. Our large appliance inventory allows customers to receive their products quickly. Direct offers free next day drop-off service on all in-stock appliances. If an appliance has to be ordered, it usually arrives in three to five days on one of our twice-weekly trucks. We also provide loaners to ordering customers until their appliance arrives, at no charge.

All deliveries and installations are performed by a Direct Appliance employee – no contract labor is ever used. All employees at Direct have a background check and drug screen ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Direct Appliance also specializes in retrofitting and installing cook tops, wall ovens, microwaves and vent hoods. We do the small jobs that many contractors are too busy to do. If you don't know what will fit, take advantage of free in home measuring service.
