Tate Owen is a multimedia journalist with NewsWest 9. An Odessa native, Tate is proud to be reporting on her hometown and surrounding areas. The Odessa native graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. During her time at the University of North Texas, Tate anchored a morning show on the student-run, award winning station, ‘North Texas Television’. One of the things she is most excited about being back is having the opportunity to revisit her alma matter… Permian High School. Go Mojo!
