City of Odessa opens warming shelters

Anyone in need of a warm place to stay can visit the shelters at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Parish or the Copper Rose Building.

ODESSA, Texas — The City of Odessa has opened two warming shelters.

The first is in the gym of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Parish at 7601 N. Grandview. 

The second is at the Copper Rose Building at 415 N. Grant.

Anyone in need of a warm place to stay can visit either shelter

Food and drinks will be provided at both locations.

Those who visit the shelters will be required to wear a mask.

The Odessa Salvation Army also has a 24-hour emergency warming shelter set up.

For those in Midland in need of a warm place to stay, True Lite Christian Fellowship also has a 24-hour shelter set up.
