MIDLAND, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation has released several local traffic alerts for the week of Jan. 3.
Midland County
TxDOT will be resuming work on the Highway 191 and Loop 250 project on January 4.
This project will move the eastbound Hwy 191 further west and create ramp reversals at various points along the highway.
During the project a reduced speed limit will be in place and TxDOT asks drivers to be observant and pay attention to future traffic alerts in case disruptions or lane closures occur.
The project is expected to be finished around mid-2023.
Ward County
Crews will be working on the center median of I-20 between mile markers 80-81 on January 3. The left eastbound lane will be closed during this time.
