USGS reports 4.5 magnitude earthquake north of Stanton

Multiple viewers across West Texas reached out to NewsWest 9 saying they felt the quake.

STANTON, Texas — The United States Geological Survey is reporting that a 4.5 magnitude earthquake hit about 11 miles north of Stanton Monday.

It registered just after 7:55 p.m. and reached a depth of 4.8 miles.
