House Fire in Big Spring was arson

Big Spring fire investigators say a house fire earlier this week wasn't an accident, it was arson.

It happened Wednesday night in the 26-hundred block of Fairchild.

Fire Marshal Carl Condray tells NewsWest Nine the house was not badly damaged, thanks to the quick response of firefighters.

We're told the house has been adandoned for years.

It appears someone broke in, and started the blaze.

No one was hurt.
