Those plummeting oil prices have forced Dallas Oilman T. Boone Pickens to put one of his expensive pet projects on hold.
He said on Tuesday that the collapse in natural gas prices will postpone his West Texas Wind Farm Project.
He's leased hundreds of thousands of acres for the farm which would have spanned four panhandle counties, and spawned 2700 wind turbines.
And he's had to trim 20 million dollars from the budget, because of that drop in oil prices.
