Former Midland College Professor Moved to a Halfway House in Odessa

ODESSA - A Midland College professor facing child pornography charges is now back in the Permian Basin.

David Allen has been moved to a Halfway House in Odessa where he awaits trial.

Allen was first sent to san angelo to a physchiatric facility for mental evaluation.

U.S. Marshals arrested Allen back on May 19th, seizing his home and work computers.

Allen was then indicted on charges of trafficking child pornography.

Investigators say he had pornogrphic images on his home computer, involving victims as young as infants.

Attornies tell NewsWest Nine, Allen could go to trial in the Fall.
