Sarah joins NewsWest 9 as a graduate of the New Century Journalism program at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.

During college, Sarah interned at the CBS and NBC affiliates in Nashville, attended and worked at professional conferences, and served as the first news director and primary anchor/reporter for Belmont's television station. After graduation, Sarah covered hyperlocal news stories at Washington Post, Newsweek Interactive in Washington DC.

Sarah's love of reporting began during high school when she interned at Birmingham, Alabama's ABC 33/40. It was there she learned the importance of telling truthful, relevant, and inspirational stories about a community.

When she's not reporting, Sarah enjoys running, reading, eating frozen yogurt, and watching I Love Lucy.
