It's not exactly like Santa's sleigh but a few local pilots took to the skies for the Salvation Army Toy Drive.
The Experimental Aircraft Association loaded up their planes with toys for more than 2,000 children from 500 families in the Midland/Odessa area.
Folks who came out to the Toy Drive say it's a good cause bringing people together during the holiday season.
"We're fortunate enough to be able to give back a little bit to the community so we do it in the way we're comfortable and that's through aviation," EAA Chapter President, Steve Clinton, said.
"It's very heartwarming to see the turnout that we've had this year and to see how many toys are quickly filling up the trailer. it's really encouraging," Captain Linda Keeney with the Salvation Army, said.
If you would like to donate, you can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any Midland/Odessa fire station or right here at the NewsWest 9 studios.
