MIDLAND COUNTY - Authorities have released the name of a man who was killed Thursday while working on a drilling rig.
35-year-old William Ryan Locke of Big Spring was killed around noon on a rig near FM 1788 and Highway 158 in Midland County.
Authorities believe he died after being hit by high pressure water. The rig is operated by Robertson Drilling out of Big Spring. OSHA investigators were expected to be at the site Friday.
