ANDREWS - A pilot water testing program is underway in Andrews.
The utilities department goes to the volunteer homes every day testing arsenic and fluoride levels, then send those samples off to a lab.
This all started when the TCEQ found higher levels of arsenic and fluoride which kicked off the unique testing program.
The utilities director tells NewsWest 9, so far so good.
The testing is expected to continue throughout the next year.
