Woman Killed in Car-Pedestrian Accident

WEST ODESSA - Police are investigating after a tragic accident in West Odessa where a woman was hit and killed.

DPS troopers say the accident happened around eight Sunday Night at 3rd and Knox.

They say a woman was in the middle of the road on Third Street, when a truck hit her.

Troopers say the woman was wearing dark clothing at the time.

No word yet on her identity or if any tickets were issued.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
