ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico health officials say three more people have died in New Mexico due to the swine flu.
Department of Health officials said Thursday that a 66-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man from Bernalillo County and a 42-year-old man from Santa Fe County have died in the last week.
The woman and the Santa Fe County man had chronic medical conditions. The teenager did not.
Their deaths bring the statewide total to 29 deaths related to swine flu.
People with chronic health conditions are at higher risk for developing complications from the swine flu virus.
Health Department officials say the severity of swine flu has not changed since last spring.
The department has ordered 203,710 doses of nasal and injectable vaccine.
