MIDLAND COUNTY - Quite a stir for a West Texas television station after a powdery substance was found in one of the offices there. That substance was later found to be cocaine after extensive testing.
It happened at Univision 18, out by the Midland International Airport.
According to HAZMAT, they were called in after the fire department was already there.
We're told the powder was found in more than one place, and that part of the building and the people in it, had to be isolated. Crews also shut down the road in front of the studio building for a time while they investigating.
After testing the powder, officials said it was non-hazardous, but confirmed it was cocaine. No arrests have been made at this time.
