Amber Alert Remains in Effect for Missing Denver City Boy

DENVER CITY - The Denver City Police Department is continuing their search for a missing 3-year-old Denver City boy.

Police are searching for 3-year-old Mitchell Romero.  He is 2'8", has black hair, brown eyes, and weighs 35 pounds.

The suspect, 33-year-old Mario Romero, who is wanted in connection with a murder, was last seen driving a maroon 2004 GMC Yukon with Texas License plate 43WFX6.

Mario Romero is accused of killing 29-year-old Veronica Esquivel Romero inside a home on East 10th Street on Friday.

Law enforcement officials believe the boy is in grave or immediate danger.

Police issued an amber alert on Friday for the missing boy.
