WEST TEXAS (KWES) - Oncor reports power outages to affect portions of West Texas.

In Midland County around 142 people are without power as of 10 p.m. In addition the National Weather service is hearing reports that a power pole at East Front Street and Terrell Street has snapped.

In Ector County over 1,000 people are reportedly without power according to Oncor.

It is unknown if it will be restored but Oncor is hoping to have most of the power back on at around 4:30 a.m., though some have an estimated time of restoration at noon.

The outage map shows times of impact varying between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. for locals.
