Morning Weather with Meteorologist, Anthony Franze

It's a chilly morning out there with temperatures in the 30s under cloudy skies. We could see some patchy fog this morning across the area, but we are not looking nearly as dense as we saw yesterday morning. We could see a few showers from the Davis Mountains to the Big Bend area and into the lower Trans Pecos, but very little is expected. Midland and Odessa should stay dry, but a stray shower is not out of the question.

We should start to see some clearing in the afternoon as high temperatures rise into the upper 50s. We'll be even warmer Wednesday through Friday of this week as high pressure dominates. High temps will be a good 10-15 degrees above average, in the upper 60s and low 70s. It will feel more like Spring, instead of Winter with plenty of sunshine as well!

Winter comes back in full force for the weekend as a strong cold front comes in late Friday and early Saturday. High temps for Saturday and Sunday will only be in the mid 40s. Low temps Saturday night will drop into the 20s area-wide. It does appear though, that precip chances will be quite slim.
