MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The George W. Bush Childhood Home will be holding the first Third Thursday Reading Program on January 17, 2019.

The event, which will run from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., is open to children of all ages. Various books will be read and each child will receive snacks, a free gift from Whataburger and a copy of the featured book.

January’s featured book is “I’m Feeling Macaroni and Cheese” from Crayola.

Space is limited so be sure to reserve a spot for your child as soon as possible. You can do this by calling 432-685-1112.

If you can’t make this event, children can visit the home during normal business hours and pick out a free book from the Laura Bush Bookshelves.
