MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -
The Texas Associated Press Sports Editors released their Class 6A All-State team on Thursday.
Midland High’s Smith Essman was selected to the first-team defense. Essman had 191 tackles, including 20 for loss and six sacks during the regular season.
Permian lineman Dawson Reynolds was named to the first-team offense. He finished his senior season with a 96% grade, 82 pancakes and 69 knockdowns.
