MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The Midland Humane Coalition is close to reaching its goal of $3 million, but still $640,000 short.
They are hoping to reach their goal by the end of 2018 and are offering incentives to encourage more donations.
MHC has introduced “naming opportunities” where people can donate a set amount of money and in exchange get a portion of the new center named after a person or even a pet.
Naming opportunities start at $2,500 for 6 dog runs and go all the way up to $125,000 for the entire lobby to be dedicated. A full list of options can be found below.
If you cannot donate any of these amounts, the coalition has several other options for you to donate, including gifts of cash or stock, a recurring monthly donation or utilizing an employer’s match program.
The new Wellness and Treatment Center will be a fully equipped facility to help provide health care, rehabilitation and socialization for rescued pets. The public will also be able to access obedience classes, pet therapy and more via this facility.
