George W. Bush Childhood Home offers community opportunity to send condolences to Bush family

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The George W. Bush Childhood Home will have a large banner available for people to share their condolences on the death of George H. W. Bush.

Guests can go by the home during normal business hours between Dec. 1 and Dec. 5. The banner will then be sent to the Bush family.

In response to the news of the former president’s death, the home released this statement:

"Today, we are saddened by the news that the 41st president of the United States, George H. W. Bush, passed away in Houston, Texas yesterday.
