ALPINE, TX (KWES) - The Alpine Police Department have identified a body found on the tracks near the railroad depot in Alpine last Wednesday afternoon.
John Oliver Brown, 55 from Hookset, New Hampshire was found dead on the tracks on November 28.
According to police, Brown was witnessed trying to board a west bound freight train. Investigators deemed the death an accident caused by blunt force trauma to the person.
Hookset Police Department helped the APD notify Brown’s family.
