MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - This Thanksgiving, Addie’s Diner in Midland opened their doors for anyone to come in and enjoy a warm plate of food.
“I had asked my daughters what they wanted to do for Thanksgiving and what they said was, ‘Mom we are very blessed we have a home. We are very blessed, we have our restaurant and our health and so we just wanted to give to the community can we do that?’ If that’s what you want to do, that’s what we will do,” Janie Mata, Addie’s Diner, said.
From the waitress to the cooks, everyone was in a good mood to serve today.
“This is like the business family, and then you go home, and you spend it with your real family and then you go home and spend it with them too. We are all a big family here,” Blanca Navarrete, Hostess, Addie’s Diner, said.
